Commitment

Accessibility Statement.

Luxury should never be exclusionary. We are committed to an experience that every visitor can navigate with ease.

1. Our Commitment

Mia Thornton is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards throughout our design and development process.

2. Standard We Work Toward

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

3. Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with clear heading hierarchy and landmarks.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful imagery.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and dialogs with visible focus states.
  • Colour combinations tested for contrast against body and interface text.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow cleanly with zoom and on small screens.
  • Labelled form fields and accessible names on icon-only controls.

4. Known Limitations

Some downloadable PDFs and third-party embeds — including payment, scheduling, and video components — may not yet meet every criterion, as portions are controlled by external providers. If you encounter a barrier in any of these, contact us and we will supply the content in an accessible format.

5. Feedback & Assistance

We welcome your feedback. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this site, or need a document, product, or booking completed another way, email hello@mrsmiathornton.com with a description of the issue and the page address. We aim to respond within three business days.

6. Ongoing Review

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time audit. This statement is reviewed as the site evolves.
